MOVE-IT! face to face trainings

Description Of The Training

We organize on site training courses for environmental consultants and tourism agents as well as for tourism related companies (f.ex. accommodation providers, catering services, travel agencies, museums).

During the trainings meant for environmental consultants and tourism agents, the participants acquire knowledge on how to create and coach an environmentally friendly tourism cluster and how to implement an environmental management system in a company.

For tourism companies we offer training courses and consulting on how to implement an environmental management system (EMAS, ISO 14001, Green Key, EU ecolabel, ...) according to the EMASeasy methodology based on eco-mapping.

The whole training cycle for regional development agents and other key actors can be summarized as below:

  • Day 1: Introductive workshop (presentation of the EMASEasy MOVE-IT project, global trends in tourism, environmental labels, benefits from the cluster approach, financing opportunities for running a cluster-based environmental coaching).
  • Day 2-3-4: step by step training on environmental management system implementation within a cluster. These 3 days are taking place in a hotel that is used for all practical exercises (ecomaps, weather maps, interviews of staff , action plan discussed with the manager ...).
  • Tutoring: individual/collective tutoring between trainee and tutor, by phone, meeting and on-line interactive sessions.
  • Day 5: Meeting for feedback & lessons learned exchanges, for trainees that continue to coach a cluster, with trainer and tutor.

Of course, the concept for training of the regional development agents is adapted to national conditions.
